Squashed: False Dilemmas

Well - no. The public and private sectors do the same thing, at a high level. Aggregate and then allocate capital. All of the sub-functions like administration are duplicative.
The argument is who does it better. The answer is that both do it poorly, and both tend to be exploitative.
On a high enough level government, the private sector, and dung beetles all do the same thing. They aggregate molecules, move them around, and try to preserve themselves and their progeny. But there are some important distinctions on a lower level. The whole organizing principle is different.
You realize that this opinion is, uh, somewhat controversial, yes?
